The president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo has commissioned streetlights in the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga on Wednesday October 7 2020.
The president stated that, the people of Bolgatanga were promised streetlights in the round up to the 2016 elections, so the government has fulfilled their promise by providing the regional capital with the streetlights.
Therefore, the government is seeking another term from the people of Bolgatanga to enable them do more things for them.
According to the Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson Ayine Bukari the street lights are Ultramodern and will help the people in the region.
President Akufo-Addo commisioned this at the Bolgtanaga Regional Hospital roundabout.
After the commissioning of the street lights by the president, many Ghanaians are blasting the president for commissioning common street lights. They reacted by saying there are a lot of developmental projects to be done so why should the president commissioned common street light.
Reacting to the development, A Plus also expressed his disappointment at the fact that the President traveled all the way from Accra to Bolga just to commission common streetlights.
